What affects the price
- Crew and trucks. More movers and a second truck cost more per hour but finish sooner. For a big move that often works out cheaper overall.
- How long it takes. Billing runs from arrival to finish, so anything that slows the day (stairs, long carries, a tight street) adds time.
- Towers and lifts. A high-rise at either end means booking the service lift and loading dock and providing a certificate of currency, which we schedule so the crew is not waiting on a lift.
- Storage in the middle. If your dates do not line up we quote the move-store-move as one job, usually cheaper than handling each leg separately. The storage planner shows what you are likely to need.
